SHOT Show is trade only and not open to the public. You qualify on two levels: show management must be able to verify that your company is directly in the shooting, hunting, outdoor, tactical or defense markets, and that you are an owner or direct employee of it. Nobody under 16 is admitted, infants included.

The show sits on the Strip, and a handful of hotels connect directly to the two buildings; the organizer says space in them is limited. NSSF takes bookings on two lines: the headquarters hotel at (866) 659-9643 in the US, and all other official hotels at 1 (800) 388-8104.
A room in the show block does not approve your registration, and if you are not approved the show is not liable for your cancellation fees, so register first.
Most Las Vegas resorts do not allow firearms, and each enforces its policy differently. If that affects your stay, ask the hotel before you book. Personal firearms and ammunition are not allowed at the show at all.

NSSF says many attendees stay within a 10-minute walk of the Venetian Expo and Caesars Forum. Beyond walking, there are shuttle buses from partner hotels, the Las Vegas Monorail, and Uber and Lyft.
Parking is paid at almost every resort, and the show does not validate it at the Venetian or at Caesars properties such as the LINQ or Harrah's. Las Vegas residents get up to three hours free at the Venetian with local ID.
Scooters ($75 a day) and wheelchairs ($25 a day) can be reserved through Scootaround at (888) 441-7575; the organizer recommends booking ahead.

The exhibit halls are in two buildings: the Venetian Expo, on Levels 1 and 2, and Caesars Forum. The SHOT Bridge, an enclosed walkway from Level 2 of the Venetian Expo into Caesars Forum, connects them, so you can cross without going outside. Both buildings are full for 2027; extra exhibitors are in SHOT Show eXtra in the Palazzo Ballroom, where the Supplier Showcase also runs.
The halls cover more than 830,000 net square feet, and NSSF's own figures put the average attendee on the floor for 21.4 hours. If you are walking it, take one building per morning and use the bridge after lunch, and keep the New Product Center (open every show day from 8:30 AM) for a quieter hour.
The official floor plan is in the SHOT Show Planner on shotshow.org.

Space for 2027 is $43 per square foot, plus $1,000 for each corner. A first-time exhibitor can take the New Exhibitor Package at $1,995: a table, two chairs, two badges, lunch for two on Wednesday and Thursday, an entry in the New Product Center, and the show's lead retrieval app. Every exhibitor has to be in the shooting, hunting, outdoor or law enforcement industries and approved by show management.
Display firearms must have their firing pins removed and pass a SHOT Show Safety Advisor's inspection. If you ship firearms, separate them from all other freight and use the show's firearm labels. Freeman is the official service contractor; each building has its own electrical provider and its own order forms, so order for the building your booth is in.
Buyer badges carry the buyer's registration details in a QR code, which you read by renting a scanner or buying the SWAP app from Maritz. That gives you the name and the company. It does not record what they asked you for, which is what the follow-up has to say.

The buyers you meet at SHOT Show will meet dozens of other booths. The one whose email arrives first, with what they asked for, gets the reply. This is what that looks like in MeetDrop. The rest of the app is on one page.

Hi Marcus,
Good to meet you at the booth this morning. Dealer pricing on the 4-16 is attached, at the fourteen-store tier you asked about.
I've put a demo unit aside. Where should it ship so it lands before your March 1 catalog deadline?

5 facts about SHOT Show, each with where it came from.
January 19 – 22, 2027, at the Venetian Expo and Caesars Forum in Las Vegas, connected by the SHOT Bridge on Level 2. Exhibit hall hours: Tue–Thu 8:30 AM–5:30 PM, Fri 8:30 AM–4:00 PM.
No. It is trade only: the shooting, hunting and outdoor trade, plus commercial buyers and sellers of military, law enforcement and tactical products. Both your company and your employment are verified, and nobody under 16 is admitted, infants included.
Retailers, distributors and training facilities pay $45 as NSSF members or $225 otherwise, and an NSSF buyer member company's first badge is free. Non-retailers pay $175 or $350, and law enforcement and military buyers pay $45.
No. Each registrant picks up their own badge on site, nobody can collect someone else's, and a lost or stolen badge costs $200 to replace.
On the Strip, near the Venetian Expo and Caesars Forum; a handful of hotels connect directly to them. Book through NSSF's lines, (866) 659-9643 for the headquarters hotel and 1 (800) 388-8104 for the other official hotels, but register first: a hotel booking does not approve your badge.
A live-fire day on Monday, January 18, 2027, the day before the show opens, at the Boulder Rifle & Pistol Club in Boulder City. It is invitation-only, and every guest must be registered for SHOT Show and pass NSSF's credential check.
NSSF puts it at 53,000-plus industry professionals and 2,400-plus media from more than 115 countries, across more than 830,000 net square feet. The 2026 edition had 2,744 exhibitors.
The same day, with what each buyer asked for. A badge scan gives you a name and a company, not the dealer pricing or the demo unit you promised. MeetDrop writes that email from one sentence you say after the buyer walks away, and it waits for your OK before it goes.
