Maritz is the only hotel provider IPPE endorses, and you book through the same registration and housing site. The organizer warns that other companies offering hotel help are not endorsed, and that agreements with them are not protected by event management.
The block has 46 hotels, with listed rates from $185 at the Sonesta Select Midtown to $295 at Hotel Phoenix. The closest are the Omni Hotel at Centennial Park ($230) and Signia by Hilton Atlanta ($281), both 0.1 miles from the building, then the Glenn Hotel ($223) and Embassy Suites at Centennial Olympic Park ($243, breakfast included) at 0.2 miles. The organizer shows no walking distance for the Midtown and Buckhead hotels, which are about 2 to 9 miles away by road. Block hotels have shuttle bus service; look for the IPPE signs in the lobby.

The Georgia World Congress Center is at 285 Andrew Young International Blvd NW, Atlanta. Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport is about 10 miles away, around 30 minutes by road.
Dress in layers. The organizer warns that January weather in Atlanta is unpredictable and that the floor temperature can change too.

The exhibits fill four halls, color-coded by industry. The 2027 exhibitor list showed 642,119 square feet on November 2, 2026, and the organizer says the list can change.
The A-B Connector joins Hall A to Hall B, and it also holds the International Trade Center, with meeting rooms, translators and a directory of exporters. The B/C Connector Bridge runs from Aisle 31000 in Hall B to Aisle 31000 in Hall C.
The landmarks worth finding are the three TECHTalks theaters (booths A244, B49003 and C13179), which run 20-minute exhibitor talks, the New Product Showcase (BC36119), the Discovery Zone (BC34088), the Community Courtyard (BC34087) and the Poultry Museum (B32009). If you are walking the floor, our advice is to see your must-visit booths on Tuesday and Wednesday, since Thursday closes at 3:00 PM.
The organizer publishes an interactive floor plan and a searchable exhibitor list. The IPPE mobile app, due in November, also has an interactive floor plan.

Booth space has been $30 a square foot since October 1, 2026, plus $250 per open corner. Exhibitors from 2026 take $4 a square foot off, and members of USPOULTRY, AFIA or the Meat Institute in good standing take $2 off. Booths start at 10 by 10 feet with a non-refundable $500 application fee. Contracts issued from October 1 to December 15 are payable in full within 15 days, later ones at the time of order, and refunds ended on September 30. Every booth needs carpet or other floor covering, which GES, the general contractor, can supply.
Move-in is by assigned target time, shown on the target maps in the exhibitor kit. If you need a different time, or a contractor other than GES, the forms are due January 5. On move-out, the organizer's warning is plain: do not expect all your empty crates back until 11:00 PM on January 28, and plan an extra night for your packing crew.
Booth staff badges are complimentary through January 25. From January 26 anyone not pre-registered pays $199, with no exceptions. Giveaways must stay inside your booth, roving staff are not allowed, and lotteries and raffles are out, though you may collect business cards for a prize drawing. You may photograph your own exhibit after telling show management in advance, but not anyone else's without their written permission, and an outside photographer needs written approval. Booths of 200 square feet or larger can book Customer Connection Center rooms on the Hall B floor, which hold up to 12 people.
Lead retrieval is rented from Maritz through the exhibitor kit, and the advance-order discount ends November 25. Exhibitors scanned more than 32,000 leads at the 2026 show. A scan tells you who stopped by. It does not record what they asked you for, which is what the follow-up has to say.

The buyers you meet at IPPE will meet dozens of other booths. The one whose email arrives first, with what they asked for, gets the reply. This is what that looks like in MeetDrop. The rest of the app is on one page.

Quickly, with what each visitor asked for. The organizer's own tip is to follow up while the show is still top of mind, and a badge scan will not tell you which spec sheet or quote you promised. MeetDrop writes the email from one sentence you say after the visitor walks away, and it waits for your OK before it goes.
