How many follow-ups does MeetDrop send, and when?

The answer, first

As many as you choose: one, two, four, or until they reply, set in Settings under Capturing. The count includes your first email, so two means the intro and one nudge. The wait depends on the lead: three days for a hot one, up to a week for a quiet one. Each follow-up is written on the day it is due and waits for you to press Send, unless you let them send by themselves in working hours. A reply stops it.

The first email, then the follow-ups

1
The first email is yours. You send it right after the capture.
2
On Pro, MeetDrop writes each follow-up on the day it is due, so it can mention anything that happened since.
3
Each one waits for your press, or, if you switch it on, leaves by itself inside your working hours.

How long between them

MeetDrop decides per lead rather than on a timer. Three days for someone hot: you marked them hot, or they opened or clicked. Four days for most. Seven days for someone who read it cold. The third waits longer again, and on "until they reply" it settles into one short note a month.

What stops it

One exception: if replies go straight to your inbox, or you send through Gmail, MeetDrop never sees them, so nothing stops the follow-ups but you.

  • A reply. Nothing else goes to them. What happens when a lead replies.
  • A bounce, an unsubscribe, or closing the lead.
  • An out-of-office pauses it until the day they are back, or seven days if the notice gives no date.
