What exactly is MeetDrop?

A lead capture app for people who meet prospects in person. After a conversation you photograph their card or badge and speak one sentence about what was said. MeetDrop pulls out the name, company and what they wanted, writes a personalised follow-up email in your voice, and sends it when you press Send — usually within a minute of the handshake. It runs in your phone's browser and there is nothing to install.

When and where is MD&M Midwest 2026?

MD&M Midwest 2026 runs October 28 and 29, 2026 at the Minneapolis Convention Center. Despite the name it is in Minneapolis, where it runs as part of Advanced Manufacturing Minneapolis alongside its sister manufacturing events.

How big is MD&M Midwest?

The show projects 5,000 attendees and 575 exhibitors, with more than 30 hours of free education across seven conference tracks. The audience is medical device engineers, designers and the buyers who source for them.

What does MeetDrop cost?

Free to start: unlimited leads, with 10 AI follow-up emails a month written and sent for you. An Event Pass is $49 for one show: 200 AI follow-up emails, for 30 days from the first one, with replies coming back to your own address. Pro is $99 a month, or $79 billed annually, for unlimited AI follow-ups, sending from your own domain, lead scoring and CRM sync. Team is $199 a month with three seats included, then $49 per extra seat.

It is only two days. Does that change anything?

It makes the follow-up harder, not easier. A two-day show gives you no evening to catch up on notes, and the stack of cards is just as tall as a four-day show's. Capturing as you go is the only way a short show ends as a lead list rather than a pile.

Will it capture a technical conversation?

Say “titanium, 40,000 a year, needs the tolerance sheet” and the material, the volume and the ask are on the lead. The follow-up then answers the engineering question they actually asked rather than sending a generic thank-you.

How soon should I follow up after a trade show?

The same day, from the show. Most trade show leads never get a meaningful follow-up at all, and the ones that arrive a week later compete with every other vendor the buyer met. The first specific email — the one that names the thing they actually asked about — is the one that gets remembered.

Can the whole booth use one account?

Yes, on Team. Every rep captures into one shared pool with dedupe, so two people who spoke to the same buyer send one follow-up rather than two. Each lead keeps the name of the rep who had the conversation, and the recap breaks results down by rep and by day. Three seats are included, then $49 each.

Does MeetDrop send emails without me seeing them?

No. Every follow-up is written and then waits in a queue for a person to read it and press Send. You can review them one at a time or send the whole queue at once, but nothing leaves the account that a human did not approve.

Do I need to install anything?

No. MeetDrop runs in your phone's browser, and there is an iOS app if you prefer one. Sign in with Google or with a code emailed to you, set the show as your event, and the capture screen is ready. There is nothing for your booth staff to download, and it keeps working when the hall wifi does not.
